Are you ready to cruise Mexico in 2009?
This is very good news for those of you who asked for some new ships sailing to Mexico. Your wish came true -
Carnival Cruise Lines will deploy its biggest and newest ship on year-round Mexican Riviera voyages starting in March 2009. Carnival Splendor will sail weekly from Long Beach following its inaugural schedule of European and Caribbean cruises next year.
The news follows last week’s announcement that Royal Caribbean International will deploy its first Voyager-class ship on the U.S. West Coast starting in February 2009. Mariner of the Seas will sail 27 week-long cruises to Mexico from Los Angeles.
Both Carnival Splendor and Mariner of the Seas will call at Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas.
All I can say - WOW!
