Great news on the horizon. I have been reading about how calling from ship to home can rob you blind! Not anymore. Several top cruise lines are now rolling out new cell-phone services, allowing passengers to use their own phones and numbers. Cost range from $2 to $5 per minute for most calls.

Even though cruise vacations are for those who wish to get away from the phone, this is a nice option to keep in touch and tell those back at home how much fun you are having. Next call home - tell them, "Wish you were here!"
